Simon Willis

Simon was educated at Royal School Armagh and then read law at The Queen’s University of Belfast.  He completed the Certificate Professional Legal Studies at The Queen’s Unversity of Belfast to become a Solicitor and served his apprenticeship at a large Belfast firm.  He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 and immediately upon qualification took up a post with Thompsons Solicitors, going on to become a Partner in 2003.

He specialises in all aspects of family and matrimonial law including separation, divorce, ancillary relief, Childrens Order and related matters.  Simon represents clients throughout Northern Ireland – many travelling considerable distances as a result of his reputation in this area. He has been ranked in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession each year since 2001 and is ranked as one of the top Solicitors practising in the area of family and matrimonial law in Northern Ireland.

In addition Simon also deals with some personal injury litigation and writing Wills.

He also sits when requested on the Remuneration Committee of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
